A urinary tract infection can make you feel unwell very quickly, with burning when you pass urine and a constant need to go. Through the NHS Pharmacy First service our pharmacist can assess your symptoms and supply antibiotics where they are appropriate.
The service is available for women aged 16 to 64 with an uncomplicated lower urinary tract infection, with no GP appointment or referral needed. Your consultation takes place in a private room. If your symptoms suggest something more complicated, or if you are pregnant, we will refer you to the right service straight away.
